We’re here to help

Our plan for Covid-19.

Getting it right from the heart.

In the past weeks, we’ve all experienced changes big and small in response to Covid-19. So, Residential Attitudes has changed the way we’re doing things, to make sure you can still live in the home you’ll love.

It’s not surprising that if you’re building a new home, you may feel a little uncertain right now, but we’re optimistic that by working together we can see these times through.

The State Government has formalised that Residential Construction is being categorised as an ‘Essential Service’.

We were able to receive this authorisation because residential construction sites are generally, very isolated by nature – we only ever have a handful of contractors on-site at any one time who take regular precautions to ensure their safety and the safety of those around them. As long as we stay safe, we’ll continue building houses.

How will this affect you?

Are our offices open?

All Residential Attitudes offices will be closed from Monday 30th of March 2020. However, our entire team will be working remotely to ensure that your home stays on-track and on-time.

How can I get in touch with the team?

Reach us by email, phone, Zoom meeting, Skype and FaceTime. This includes meetings with our Sales and Design team, appointments with our New Home Administrators, and checking progress on site with our Supervisors.

If you have a preferred way of contacting us that we haven’t listed here, just let us know.

Are display homes open?

In accordance with Government restrictions, our display homes will only be open for private appointments and will be a zero-contact experience to keep you and our staff safe.

My house is under construction, can I go visit it?

We’re happy for you to visit your home throughout the build, but we ask that you organise a time with your Site Supervisor prior to showing up. This is for the health and safety of the tradespeople that may be working on your home.

My house is under construction in another region, can I go and visit it?

Yes, but you’ll need a letter from us on a letterhead, a rates notice and a copy of your plans with your address. If this changes we’ll let you know as soon as we know.

What about my pre-start meeting?

We are still allowing meetings in person; however, we are also adhering to social distancing rules. But, we’re more than happy to meet over Skype, Facetime, or Zoom to ensure your safety and ours.

Is construction still underway on my home?

Construction on your home should carry on as per your agreed timeline.

Is there likely to be any delays?

Currently, we are experiencing no known material supply issues. However, if one does arise, we will keep you informed and do our best to tackle it head-on.

Let’s do this together –  At the end of the day, we want you to enjoy not only your new home, but your journey getting there. Which is why during these trying times, we’re pulling out all the stops to keep you on-top and on-track. But, as always, your health and the health of our team is our top priority. Let’s look out for each other and together we’ll make sure you open the door on your own home.
