« WHAT'S IN STORE IN 2008?

2008 is shaping up to be a very exciting year, with the release of a new range of innovative homes, specifically designed to suit the more narrow lot and the recent opening of our latest two storey display home 'The 'Elements', in Burns Beach.

Bold and minimalist, describe the latest addition to our display home range, 'The Elements'.  The design offers a unique floor plan featuring a bridge over the entry foyer, massive free-form living area with state-of-the-art galley kitchen and e-nook and a true alfresco, complete with secondary cooking area and fireplace.

The display version of the home fits a 15.5m wide block.

Buyers also have the flexibility to mix and match the size, elevation and specification to customise their own version of the home.

» RESIDENTIAL ATTITUDES TAKE HOME SHARE OF 2007 RIC NEW AWARDS

Congratulations to Daniel Allen (Drafting Manager) on winning the '2007 Ric New Rising Star Award' and to Brook Leber (Designer) on being selected as a finalist for the '2007 Ric New Medal', at the Master Builders Association's presentation evening held at The Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle.

The prestigious awards were introduced by the late Mr New's daughter, Ms Marylyn New. Ric New was the founder of Midland Brick and a person whose success was achieved largely through entrepreneurial flair, creativity and innovation. The awards focused on these same personal characteristics and potential of a worthy person aged under 35.  Ms New instigated the awards to recognise the vast talent among the younger generation and to inspire others to reach their full potential.

Director of the MBA, Michael McLean, commented, "One of our objectives with this award was to commemorate the name of Ric New who contributed so much to affordable home ownership in this state through his work ethic, customer service focus and free enterprise principles."

Our congratulations to Daniel and Brook on such an outstanding achievement and for their contribution, commitment and on-going support of the Building Industry.
